Busy Again

Spring is a busy time of year around here. Our local quilt show was held this past week-end. It was wonderful. Our co-chairs Clara and Ardie did a fantastic job. There seemed to be a steady flow of visitors and I was able to see several friends whom I hadn't seen in quite some time.

fabrics for ugly quilt challenge

Today I finished the UFC (Ugly Fabric Challenge) for 2009. As usual, I waited until the deadline was almost here before I got "busy" with my project. This will be donated to the Habitat for Humanity Auction held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in April. Here are the fabrics we needed to use.

Tomorrow is quilting at the LQS for Underground RailRoad.

  5. Jeanne,
It is always so interesting to see what people choose as ugly fabrics- I love those fabrics- I think they would make a gorgeous quilt- I really like the spider mum design- but then I love florals- Ithink it will make a fabulous quilt.
It sounds like it was lots of fun at the quilt show-
    Regards,
    Anna
