Finished a Flimsy

Quilt top for shop made with squares and rectangles

This quilt top was made from a pattern by Nancy Mahoney called Papillon Jardin. It uses the Hoffman "Papillon" Collection of fabrics. My LQS asked if I would be interested in making some samples for the shop. This is my first attempt. I chose this one because it was so different from what I usually buy or sew. And I only have to make the top! Now that has my name all over it. The top measures about 61" x 77". This pattern was fun to make, sort of like putting a puzzle together.

  15. Hey Jeanne! Hmmm ... usually a quilt doesn't count as a finish til it's quilted, but since your only task was to do the top, I've added it to my spreadsheet as your first March finish - well done! Looks great, too! Hope you're having a great weekend! Bear Hugs! KRIS
