I'm linking up with Kathy's Quilts for her Slow Sunday Stitching because I finished the binding for my little Abundance doll quilt made from Lori's (Humble Quilts) SAL. I need to find a bigger doll or a king sized doll bed!
The pink fabric is the back side since the front was too bright. An instructor once said, "You pay for both sides of the fabric." Don't be afraid to use the back.

Such a beautiful block/quilt.

Your little abundance quilt is so pretty. I also ended up using the back side of one of the fabrics in my version. A great tip to keep in mind when choosing fabrics for any project.
ReplyDeleteNice job, Jeanne! Great fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteI really love that blue in the center--and that light binding is a nice look. I always use a darker binding. I need to get more adventurous! : )
ReplyDeleteLove your little doll quilt and the fabrics. This was a fun quilt along.
ReplyDeleteDone! Done! Done!
