Wednesday progress

My Cheddar Cheese & Crackers top is complete! I wanted to do this quilt since Lori (Humble Quilts) posted it as a QAL almost three? years ago. I even had many of the pieces cut and the sewing steps were printed. Everything was assembled in a large zip lock bag. I tried working on it at a retreat, but it required more space than I had to lay out the blocks. Thank you, Lori, for providing such fun quilts to make. If anyone notices any piecing errors, please don't tell me!

These pretty FQs had to come home with me last Saturday. They are Nib & Quill by Sara Morgan for Blue Hill Fabrics. Aren't they yummy?

The weather forecast says we are going to get some snow for the next two days. I'd kind of like to be snowed in for a bit as long as the power doesn't go out.

Love you newly finished top. I SOOO would have bought that stack of fabrics too. I am always looking for neutrals to add to my stash. I have been reading about your upcoming weather. I worry about my kids in Muskegon and their terrible work commutes. Take it easy on those roads! Winter in KY is much easier than in MI.

that fabric stack is very yummy.
I love the cheddar quilt-way to get it done, I don't think 3 years is too long an aging time
I always like the thought of being snowed in for a few days, but with power.

Love your Cheddar Cheese and Crackers... any quilt with cheddar in it just screams "happy!" Hope the snowstorm allows lots of sewing time... WITH power!

Has it really been that long ago, I wanted to make the Cheddar quilt but never did. Yours looks great.

Looks great! I love the Cheddar cheese quilt - in fact, I made 2 of them! I didn't realize at first that it was kind of confusing to get everything in place correctly.

Beautiful!! I'm so happy you stuck with it! I don't see any problems with your piecing either.

Love your newest fabric purchase!!
