Blocks, Top and Kitties

Before the new block(s) come out Friday for Temecula Quilts Circa 2016, I wanted to show my work from last week. Still using my scraps and still not making a dent.

The two blocks given for us to make for our QCU (Quilted Cottage University) sew along this month are done, also.

And I finally set the blocks that I received from our Six Shipshe Swappers block exchange. My header shows the blocks I made and these are the ones I received. Each participant made one applique and one pieced block, plus we did an embroidered block and pieced block for another gal. The blocks finish at 6 inches.

Our kitties get along fine, but seldom interact with each other anymore.        What a surprise to find them playing together, pushing the ball back and forth!

I smiled at the fact that you're using your scraps for your tiny blocks and not seeing a dent in the pile. Tiny pieces=tiny dent. :0)

I love the blocks you've been making. Lovely sewalongs with the Temecula and Farm Girl Vintage blocks. And Circa 2016 is looking great too!

Tiny blocks are so much fun to make - even if they do not make our "stash" get smaller - LOL.
Heck - even my regular quilts are not making a dent. I think fabric stash grows during the night. Looking good on the small blocks.

Oh, your quilt turned out really nice!

And you gotta make Rosemary sized quilts to make a dent. Sorry.

Beautiful blocks! I resisted following along on the Circa 2016, but as I see all these lovely blocks, I am rethinking that decision!
