Stash Report

I didn't post the last two Sundays about my stash busting. No fabric entered my house during that time and I did finish the little winter swap quilt all from my stash. But this week...my quilt shop is now carrying repros! What could I do? I need to support my LQS and they looked so nice together on the shelves. Connie and I were at Fantastic Friday at the shop and each chose four bolts of lights and four bolts of darks. We had one yard cut of the darks and a half yard of the lights. We are cutting both sets in half and sharing tomorrow at Bee. Before we left, they had cut a couple of containers full of FQs. A few of them jumped into our bags, too. And since I had already fallen off of the wagon, I also got a yard of a nice background and 2 1/2 yards of a red and green checked which were both half price. I'll try again this week.

It really was nice of you to take those poor orphaned fabrics home with you. Who could resist!!!!

I'm sure they'll grow up to be something wonderful

I'm sure you are giving that fabric a better home--it needed to come home with you--some came home with me yesterday when we stopped at a quilt store, too!!! Such fun!!

What's a girl gonna do when those treasures jump right in to your bag. It'll all come out in the wash anyway...lol

You can't help but admire the leaping abilities of some of those little fat quarters! There should be an Olympic contest for fat quarter leaping. I know even when I try to stay all the way across the room from them, some still end up in my shopping cart! :-)

Of course you have to support that shop, isn´t it the one that you get to sew and have soup on Friday nights?

Well at least you would have had a soft landing surface when you fell..it's oh so hard resisting repros..
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog.
I like your neck warmer :-D too... at least you wouldn't need to keep putting it in the micro to warm back up... hee hee... Hugs Elly

I love the fabric you got. I am just starting to really love the reproduction fabrics (because we all need more things to love) I can’t wait to see what you make with them. Fat Quarters like to stick to me as I walk through quilt shops too, aren’t they pesky that way? I’ve been trying to be better about not buying fabric, until I went on a shop hop last month. All of my resolve went down the drain LOL!

It's no fun being on the wagon.
It wasn't your fault the fabrics fell into your bag :)
