Swaps

the polka dot swap gift I sent my name
My first two swaps have been sent out with one being received. Lorraine was my recipient for the Polka Dot & Rick Rack swap. I made her a project bag with pet screen and made the rick rack with polka dot fabric. Lorraine loves to stitch so I sent a collection of DMC variegated floss and a thimble note pad.
My package for the SSCS was mailed on November 26th, but it has a long way to go. I hope it has a safe trip.

The last two pictures are the DNP tops that I made at the DJ Retreat in Shipshewana. Wednesday I will take them to UGRR sewing and they will be layered, birthed and tied.

Love your DNP. Is that little angels I see in the blue one?

Swaps are fun, aren't they. I did my first mini quilt swap in November and I'm hooked. Just have to be careful not to sign up for too many!!

Oh! I hope you get your SSCS soon! So sad to send one and not have one yet. (I was lucky, I received mine before I even posted!) I know Lorraine loved the ricrac swap gift you sent her so I'm sure your SSCS recipient will be thrilled too!)

I love the quilt tops you make at the retreat! They're Disappearing Nine Patch, aren't they? I recently discovered this pattern and just love it!

very cool bag! was the screen difficult to sew with? I want to make a beach collecting bag with some of that.
