Valentine Basket & Giveaway

red and white fabric basket for Valentine's Day
I made this Valentine basket from the tutorial on Pink Penquin's blog. If I have time, I'd like to make up a few more from the new Valentine line I bought at the retreat.

Christine is having a giveaway and the drawing isn't until February 7th. Click on over to Once Upon a Quilt and read all about it.

I've been cutting and cutting trying to catch up on the mystery quilt from my guild. Maybe by tomorrow I'll be able to begin the sewing.

Jasper was too impatient to wait for us to open the new cat food bag. He took matters into his own teeth. Rip!

Hi Jeanne, It's me again. Do you know where in that blog the tutorial is? I can't seem to locate it. Thanks!

My late great St. Bernard, Bucky, once ripped open a 20# bag of fresh kitty litter and ate at least a cup or two looking for, well... let's call them Tootsie Rolls. I know how much he ate because he immediately barfed it back up. A cat ripping into a bag of cat food just isn't that bad!

Oh dear, I better send Jasper a catnip toy quick! that's kind of what my cat looked like trying to open the envelope that the catnip came in!

I have a cat that does the same thing. The cat food bag has to be in the closet behind closed doors. Guess he figures what's in the bag is better than what's in the bowl.

I love your little basket...I made one before and i would like to make some more too. They are just so cute. :)

My little Frankie tries to do that too....I have to keep the bags in a container or he rips them all open....lol

I like your Valentine fabrics in your bag. I am working on the same little bag/basket from Pink Penquin's blog. Mine is made from leftover bits from my purple and green exchange blocks. It is fun to make. I can see that it could become very addictive making these cute little bags!
