36 Patch Blocks Reduced

AmandaJean's latest QAL was using 36 Patch blocks that measured 12" (finished). I am enjoying making these, but while sorting through some scraps I wondered how the block would look with smaller strips. If you cut six strips (3 light and 3 dark) at 1 1/2" x 10", you'll get a 6" (finished) 36 patch block. Since I love 'little', I think they're stinkin' cute!

I made an Abby Bag for a shop sample. It was fun sewing with these happy fabrics.

Very cute! Are they as time-consuming as they look? I was so sorry to hear about your sister's grandson~have been very behind on blogging and just read it now. Take care...am thinking of you and your family.
