Handwork Sunday

I spent Wednesday through Saturday at the July 'Sleep At Home Retreat'. Yesterday a few of us worked on watermelon table runners from All People Quilt. That gave me more handwork for tonight - finishing the binding.

I finished the second snowman in this table runner.

This was a kit bought at The Quilt Festival in Shipshewana last month. The green fabrics just screamed, "buy me".  Connie and Helen each made one, too.

Remember the birthday quilt I finished last month month? There were scraps leftover so I cut pieces for a mini birthday quilt. The mini measures 10" x 11". Today I quilted it and did the hand sewing for the binding. It's going to someone very special this week.

The next Lori Smith quilt square is now quilted and bound. It's my favorite, so far.

Here's the four squares together.
