Rainbow Scrappy Saturday Blocks

I sewed a few little brown blocks for soscrappy's monthly color challenge. This block was shown on her blog here. I did turn the HST units by accident and decided to leave them that way. These blocks will finish at four inches. I will have fun playing with the secondary patterns. I'm linking with soscrappy today.

Jim has been picking lots of apples from our two trees.

Nice brown blocks Jeanne, I find the first and third layout very appealing.

A happy accident. The blocks look great and make such lovely secondary patterns.

What fun to see the pinwheel appear when four blocks are put together. Your apples look delicious!

Isn't that arrangement in the 1st and 3rd one sometimes called "Jacob's Ladder"? They are nice!

I'm sure there's a name for each of those different arrangements and they probably have "road" in their title!

Looks like you have some work ahead with your apples. We didn't get our tree sprayed in time and they were all buggy this year. I guess I won't have to make apple butter or apple sauce!
