Equal Time & Fun Mail

Annie stretched out and sleeping on Jim's legs
Annie pointed out to me today that Jasper has had much more blog space than she has been given. So in the interest of harmony among the felines here is a picture of Annie sleeping on Jim's legs. This is a common scene in our living room if we are watching television together. Annie with Jim and Jasper with me.

Today's mail brought the lovely batik butterfly fabric from Holly. It is gorgeous. I've been looking at it all afternoon wondering what to make with it. Thanks, Holly.

Tomorrow the Detroit Tigers' spring training game will be on the radio! Can't wait to hear those familiar sounds of spring even if the snow is still covering the ground outside.

Let's Play Ball!! I am so excited for the season to start! Yesterday I printed off the schedule for the Eugene Ems (farm team for Padres) since we try to get to a few games. The farm teams are a blast to watch and we are not close enough to any major league stadium, but the farm teams offer great entertainment! "Our" team is the Mariners...not matter how they are playing we are rooting' for the!

Let the games begin!

Love the photos of your cats. Such great companions. Glad you're enjoying the Judy Day quilts - aren't they amazing. I'll show a few more soon.

Hard to believe spring training here already.I always rooted for the Tigers...as my high school was the same...tigers.And Michigan wasn't that far from PA...but had to fight all those indians and pirates fans. :o)

Thanks for your comments about my letters and word quilt. It's going to be a long haul, but I'm thrilled I finally got a start on it.

ooooooooooo pretty fabric! my girl kitty usually sleeps on my Jims legs too. I think it's because she feels that the big chair is hers, so whoever is sitting in it must be her personal bed.
