Stash Report & Yellow Things

Fabric triangles and squares for mystery quilt

My Easy Angle Ruler 'appeared' the other day so I was able to cut the triangles that go with the squares for Step 2 of The Orange Crush mystery. Not sure how much fabric was used, but I know I didn't buy anything new THIS week.

Angela at Cottage Magpie issued a challenge to photograph things that are yellow around our house. Here is what I found.

Chicken vase with sunflowers

Jasper's yellow boa

Tote bag with yellow fabric

Mini Stapler

bananas&lemons drops

Chicken trivet

Yellow Daffodils

Bee Bag

Look at all the yellow- wow. It's not a popular color here. Green is though :)
I'm sitting this mystery out these GS quilts have me going in circles- but the pile is half of what it was *VBG* One -possible two to do tomorrow and Tuesday. No baseball for me tomorrow so I might quilt at night since the elctrician is coming during the day and I'm not sure if I'll even have power

Lovely, reminds me I haven't had a lemon drop for a while! I love the scent of yellow too, lemon, dafoldil, yellow roses. Yellow is pretty and smells great.

Interesting - I was thinking that I don't have *yellow* around my house and glance around the kitchen where I'm sitting and can see 3 yellow things - my broom handle, overripe banana's, and my kitchen sponge!

That's a LOT of triangles!

Looking good! I really like yellow, but seldom use it in quilts. :)
