Off to Shipshewana, Indiana

horse and buggy logo
Tomorrow morning I'll be heading south to Shipshewana, Indiana for the semi-annual Dear Jane retreat held at The Farmstead Inn. I'll be sewing, socializing, shopping and eating the Amish food until Sunday. There are more than 75 people signed up for this gathering and it's always a fun time. I'll miss reading all of your blogs, but will catch up next week.

What a fabulous time this sounds! Did you work on Dear Jane the whole time?

Have a wonderful time! Have always wanted to go there with my DJ, but trips home to family always win out!

Enjoy your time in Shipshewana--I have many great memories of the fle market and Yoder's Department Store from times spent there (when we lived in Goshen). I'm sure you'll have a great time with other Dear Jane fans!

Oh, it does sound like a wonderful trip! I've been there..but not "in season"..and it was a hurried trip due to impatience of DH. The stores were just closing...I was sad. Post lots of pictures! Hugs, Finn

I know you're gonna have a great time and good food. I haven't been to Shipshewana in 20 years but can still taste the lunch I had at Das Essen House. Hope you get to go to Yoder's General Store to peruse their 10,000 bolts of fabric. Wish I was there!
