Mystery Solved!

finished mystery top in reds and reens
Thank you, Bonnie! Participating in this mystery quilt, I was able to share each step with quilters from around the world. How fun to see so many different color combinations and fabrics all in the same pattern.

Yikes! I just noticed an error in my top! Can you find it?

All fixed!

Beautiful. I will have to say I had to look for a good bit before I found the error.

It's fabulous! Took me a while to see the error -- what a fabulous Christmas quilt this would make!

Gorgeous quilt. I found the error too, but it doesn't detract for the quilt. Great job!

Like the others I was going to say I just see a beautiful quilt and no error but right as I clicked on the comment link I saw it! Isn't it funny how that works. Still it is a beautiful quilt - I'm loving how all of these quilts with different colors are coming together. I just need to make some hourglasses and then I can see how my colors work!

Ahh... something that we've all done before! I would have been too lazy and just left it. :P

It looks wonderful Jeanne, I did see the error but probably wouldn't have if you hadn't mentioned it. Why are we compelled to point them out? I do the same thing.

Ok I give up, I can't find the error, it looks perfect to me.

It never occurs to me to make red the focus color -- yours is truly beautiful. I'll have to start thinking outside the box a bit more on my color choices.

Looks great Jeanne. I'm still putting the blocks together. I'm slow - I know but in my defense I have a love quilt to be ready for the mail Tuesday morning and I've been doing that and charity quilts for the GS to tie tonight for my guild. And reading magazines and books.
I can't wait to see all the quilts when this is all over. I like mine so far and I think I have a modesty block too I saw it the other day and I can't find it now - must be hiding till my top is together also.
Hope you're feeling better

Oh no! Would you believe I did the same thing?!?! One star with a twisted QST! I debated leaving it that way since it was in the middle, but couldn't stand it...I see you fixed yours too!

Looks great and I didn't know there was an error until you mentioned it. Took me a while to find it!

Great quilt Jeanne! I think you should leave the turned piece as a point of interest. What will you do?

I've been lurking on the quiltville chat group and noticed your link posted... came to take a look and "had" to log in so I could leave you a comment ;)

YOUR quilt is VERY pretty!!! It really is one of the better ones - b/c you can easily see both types of blocks. So many of the others are just one big blah so to speak... and that is so sad after all their hard work...

but YOUR Christmas fabrcis really look fantastic! and those white centers POP - I think that is what makes the quilt! ;) I hope you send Bonnie a finished photo for her pattern page. ;)

wow - that is beautiful. The error is really hard to find. I think it would have been a new design element!!

NO, I don't look for errors too closely....I'm sure mine has lots!! Your corners all meet beautifully. Mine are a big ragged, but I got the first border on today. So just a second wider border and I am finished! I too am looking forward to April... How are you going to quilt yours?

It's gorgeous. I didn't even bother to look for the mistake and probably wouldn't have found it even if I did.

Oh, my goodness! I just spent 15 minutes trying to find the error in the corrected quilt photo! I was going to write to you, begging that you tell me where the error was and then I realized you posted the photo of the corrected top as well! Oh, my, that was funny. No wonder I couldn't find the error. It had been fixed. Beautiful job, by the way. I really like the red - great choice.
