Sick of being sick

I feel like half the month of January is missing as I've had the crud since January 13th. Every time I think I'm feeling a bit better, something else appears. Friday I went to see the doctor and have an antibiotic to take now. It should be kicking in any time now, don't you think?

Yesterday, the girls came to sew in the afternoon. Here Mary and Connie are admiring the gorgeous star blocks that Connie made for her Carolina Mystery Quilt. She's using pink and brown repro fabrics and they look terrific.

The label is sewn on the Four Seasons Swap Quilt and it will go out in tomorrow's mail. I found a perfect fabric in my stash that depicts trees in winter for the backing. The quilt is resting on the extra fabric.

Sorry to hear you are having such a tough time with getting rid of the crud. Hope that antibotic works soon and you are feeling much better. This crazy weather is enough to keep people sick. I'm hibernating trying to stay well.

I hope you felt well enough to play when your friends were there to sew. I love the fabrics your friend selected.

{{Warm Quilty Hug}} so you can feel better!

Sorry you've been so ill! There is a nasty bug going around but hopefully the antibiotic kicks it right out and you're feeling better soon!

Oh man - we had that crud here last week. I honestly fear that it will come this way again since I think they are just passing it around and around at Hubby's office *argh* Hopefully it will all clear up soon. Your snowman is just darling - such a happy fella and the backing fabric looks perfect *s*

So sorry you are not feeling well. I have missed two days of work this week because I am sick also. I feel for you. I hope you can curl up with your favorite quilt wrapped around you and read, or listen to music, or something calm and relaxing. Get well soon.

Sorry you've been sick. There has been a bad bug going around the area here, but so far, I've managed to avoid it. Feel better soon, the antibiotics should help. Regina in MI
