The End of June

Finish Five Challenge logo

Another month is almost over. Oh, I wish time would slow down a bit. I've decided (against my better judgement) to sign on to Peg's Challenge to finish five projects before the end of July. What's the worst that could happen? Maybe I'll only get a couple done, but that's more than none. I have a patriotic tablerunner that I would like to finish before the 4th of July. It just needs quilting and binding. That will be my first target.

I finished the border on the Not So Top Secret Quilt from here that Alycia gave steps for on her blog. She has agreed to quilt it and add it to the pile for Quilts of Valor. She has a goal of 400 to reach before next May.

Four Patch quilt top done with different shades of blue fabrics

Sarah is celebrating her 100th post and has made a really cute Tidy Bin to send to someone.

Congratulations on taking the plunge. I think it will definitely motivate you. I would have loved to, but I just have too much dust and destruction in my house at this time :-(
Love the double 4 patch - gorgeous!

Love the blue and white quilt, Jeanne. That's one of my favorite combinations. What a great idea for a challenge! Nothing like a deadline to get one motivated....

I knew you'd do it. What quilter could resist a challenge.

I think this is a good challenge. I have finished two so far - must begin to think about what the next three will be.

I will be cheering you on from the sidelines. Although I have many projects to finish, work is way to busy for me to commit to a challenge.

Your not so mystery came out so cute! I've bookmarked it to make one someday.
Peg's challenge is a good one... motivated me to quilting again. :-)

Hey Jeanne! Good on you for joining us crazies in the challenge!! My problem at the moment is trying to work on too many projects at once, as well as organise a birthday party for one of my dancing buddies!! Oh dear! So many things to be done, so little time - not enough of it spent sleeping! Tee! Hee! Hee! Will look forward to photos of your progress - it's pretty cool having so many people to cheer you on! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)
