Judith recently had a giveaway of this gorgeous cross stitched angel and I was the lucky recipient. The picture (from Judith's blog) doesn't do it justice. Her workmanship is superb - the piece is gorgeous. Thank you so much.
Monday was Bee day at Mary's house. It was the first of our bi-monthly swaps of 4" blocks. We decided to trade three different 4" blocks made with Jo Morton fabrics (mostly) every other month. At the end of the year, we'll have 72 cuties to put together. We all like little and were pleased with the first batch of blocks.

What wonderful little blocks! Love them!
I cannot believe Judith would give the beautiful angel away - aren't you ever so lucky! The little blocks are just lovely, too!

I can't believe anyone gave away a completed Angel of Summer! I made the Angel of Autumn in silk a number of years ago and it took me forever to finish, especially the garland, which is one stitch of this color, one stitch of that. FOREVER! I wouldn't part with it for anything. You're very lucky! I really like the cloudy background fabric; I've never seen it done on anything but solid linen before. Lovely!
Happy framing,
Susan
These are adorable blocks!
And congrats on being a lucky winner of the cross stitch!
What a wonderful win. Years ago I saw some stitched angels similar at a cross stitch show and they were spectacular. I bought a pattern and planned to do one but never did it. It was going to be a lot, a lot, of work and so I just never started on it.
Wow! Lucky you! Nice little blocks and a beautiful angel. What a lot of work that was to give away.;
I love your little blocks, each cuter than the next! That is so much fun to sew and swap with friends. Love that angel, I actually have that pattern chart from long ago.
I love those little blocks!!!!
Congratulations on winning that cross stitch. I can't believe someone would give it away. I know how much work goes into doing cross stitch.
Love all your little blocks.
