My local quilt shop, The Quilted Cottage, has scheduled three days to sew quilts for the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes. Since I can't be there on those days, I made my top this week. The pattern is called Simply Strips by Fran Morgan. It was fast to cut, sewed up quickly and only used three yards of fabric for the top and binding.
I will use this pattern again. It would make a cute baby quilt.

What a wonderful idea your LQS has had in making quilts for the Oklahoma tornado victims! Sometimes we feel so helpless in not knowing what we can do to help, and so a project like this warms our hearts as much as it warms the heart of the recipient. You have used a very cute pattern to make your quilt!
this is such a cute happy quilt.
good job, that is so nice of you to make a quilt for such a great cause.
I think its great the LQS would do this.
Your quilt will make someone very happy. I'm not keeping up with baseball. How're your Tigers doing. Colleen is an Indians fan and very unhappy.
