Today there is a wonderful, refreshing breeze moving through the house. The doors and windows are open and the a/c is off. Life is good.
While watching the Tigers/Royals ballgame last night, I started playing with a box of 1 1/2" HSTs. My original plan was to make a mini zig zag quilt.
I had four rows of ten done before the game was over (which we won).
Notice the box doesn't look like anything was taken from it. These would make a great border on a mini, too. I guess I'll sew until I run out and then decide how to use them.

the zig zag looks great-we are under some oppressive heat here 100 again today, which is not typical summer weather here in the 'burgh. The thoughts of having a nice cool breeze sounds delicious. Trying to remember that in a few short months I will not be able to sit outside without a coat!
