Flimsy Finish

My applique pic from Slow Stitching Sunday didn't give a good idea of what I was doing. Today, I finished the top so this is the project I was stitching yesterday.

'
This was a challenge given to our group to make it from the fabric scraps remaining from our other Whatnots quilts. It was fun to make. The top measures 18 1/2" x 19 1/2" in size.

I love, love, love it! I love how you tucked so many little blocks around the edges -- the four patches and the half-triangle squares. The houses are charming and the big flower is fabulous! And the colors look so good together. Well done!

Beautiful little challenge quilt!
I love your applique flower, it looks so sweet growing toward the sun/star over the houses.

What a creative use of your scraps. I love the giant flower. It's a wonderful folk art piece.

Love the big flower with the smaller size houses. A very prim style which I like.
